ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Conference venue is the brand new Lister Hall Conference Centre at the University of Alberta. Please make your own arrangements for accommodation, but the organisers are hoping that most delegates will opt to stay at Lister Hall, where three types of room are available:

Traditional Dorm Rooms. These are available for both single ($30.00 plus applicable taxes, i.e. $33.60 per night) and twin ($44.80 per night) occupancy; shared washrooms; linen and towel service provided.

Private Dorm Rooms. These are available for single occupancy only ($50.40 per night); each room has its own washroom with a toilet, sink and shower; linen and towel service provided.

Parking is available for an additional $4 per day.

A PREFERRED RATE HAS ALSO BEEN NEGOTIATED WITH SOME OTHER EDMONTON HOTELS (Please mention Climate Change Conference to receive preferred rate):

CAMPUS TOWER SUITE HOTEL 11145-87 AVE, EDMONTON (1-888-962-2522).
Located on the edge of campus about 700 metres from the Conference Centre. We have reserved a number of one-bedroom bachelor suites ($99 plus tax per night) and one-bedroom executive suites ($129 plus tax per night).

Located in the heart of downtown Edmonton; easy access to campus via LRT. LRT station adjacent to hotel (University Station about 700 metres from the Conference Centre). We have reserved a number of standard single/double rooms ($96 plus tax per night) and superior single/double rooms ($116 plus tax per night)

Located across the river from the campus, a one stop ride on the LRT (University Station about 700 metres from the Conference Centre) or a 25-30 minute walk to the Conference Centre. We have reserved a number of one bedroom suites ($72 plus tax per night) and two bedroom suites ($95 plus tax per night).
