My duty is to keep you informed with regards to our Society. One major change is that our annual meeting will now be held jointly with ASAS every second year starting in 2010. The joint meeting will be held every sixth year in a Canadian location.

The joint conference with ASAS and ADSA in Montreal was successful and I would like to thank Karen Beauchemin and Martin Lessard for their efforts and dedication to working with ASAS and ADSA in putting all things together on time.

We still have men's and women's CSAS golf shirts available if you want to show your CSAS pride! They can be viewed on the website and can be purchased for $20.00 plus shipping by contacting me or Johanne Chiquette.

The following members were honoured at the Banquet:

Finally I would like to thank the great work of our outgoing Executive members: Priya Mir, Ermias Kebreab, Luigi Faucitano and Bart Lardner. It was a pleasure working with you.

Please, mark your agenda for the next CSAS Meeting that will be held in Denver, July 11 to 15, jointly with ADSA, WSASAS, PSA, and AMPA.
